I have conversations with interesting people.

I’m an award-winning, Washington, D.C.-based journalist with experience covering health, crime, and racial justice. Previously, I have worked as a reporting intern in newsrooms such as KBOO Community Radio Station, Voice of America, and D.C. Witness. As a freelance reporter, I have written for outlets like TeenVogue.com, where I reported on the impact of police presence on students in public schools.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in investigative journalism at American University, where I also completed my undergraduate studies in communications. As a graduate student, I’m joining the newsroom at the Washington Post as a part of a selective apprenticeship program.
